Antique Royal Worcester pair Greek figurines 1827 & 1828 Modelled James Hadley

Paintings, antiques and objects of art. Over 48 years in the trade.

Royal Worcester pair of Greek figurines playing symbols and lute, modelled by James Hadley, 1897. Marked "WORCESTER SHOT ENAMELS", no. This is a stunning Royal Worcester pair of James Hadley figurines. I believe it is called "Music" and the date code indicates that it was made in 1911.

The figure is approximately 13" (33 cm) high and the base is 4.25" (11 cm) across. The sculpting is absolutely beautiful with the drapes of the dress sinuous and flowing, indicating the movement of the music. The base has the Hadley signature as shown in the photograph. An extremely rare pair of objects.

There may be signs of scratches, discolouration, chips, cracks wear and tear. This item is in the category "Art\Art Sculptures". The seller is "leanstone" and is located in this country: GB.
