Royal Copenhagen Vintage Danish Porcelain Lobster Dish, circa 1924

A fine early vintage Danish Royal Copenhagen porcelain dish molded with a lobster dating from circa 1924. The shallow dish is heavily made and formed as a basket with a moulded basket weave rim and holding a large scallop shell with a lobster perched on the edge. The dish is decorated in tones of blue, grey and brown and has printed green marks to the base along with blue underglaze wave marks and with number 3277 both painted and impressed to the base.
